While most 914/6 models left the factory with standard black vinyl upholstery, a handful of special-order cars—especially those finished in Sonderfarben like Grünmetallic—were delivered with color-coordinated interiors. Green velour is virtually absent from official factory catalogs and is believed to have been available only through Porsche’s special request program (Sonderwunsch).

🔧 Maintenance Summary – Porsche 914/6 (2006–2024):
Between 2006 and 2024, this Porsche 914/6 has benefited from regular and well-documented maintenance by expert workshops including Talleres Joserra, Autos Antón, Baltasar S.L., and most recently, Racetorations.
In 2006, the crankshaft seal was replaced, carburetors adjusted, and fresh oil and spark plugs installed. In 2007, new rear shock absorbers were fitted, a fire extinguisher was mounted, and a short-shift gear lever was installed — all enhancing its rally-readiness. In 2011 and 2014, electrical components including the battery, alternator, belts, and the brake master cylinder were serviced or replaced.
From 2015 to 2016, the car received continued attention with brake light switch and belt anchor repairs, cleaning of fuel tanks, carburetor adjustment, oil changes, and ignition tuning. In 2017, the clutch assembly (disc, pressure plate, and release bearing) was replaced, and the car passed its Spanish road inspection (ITV). Between 2018 and 2023, annual services included general inspections, cleaning of electrical contacts, carburetor tuning, headlight repairs, replacement of the fuel pump and filter, new battery, brake service, and exhaust alignment.

⚙️ Upgraded to 2.7 litre engine:
The most significant work was replacing the 2.0 engine for a much powerful 2.7 engine by Baltasar. Baltasar is a legend; he was chief mechanic for Porsche Spain (Ben Heidrich) in the ‘70’s.
The old 2.0 liter 6 cylinder engine needed a full rebuild and the block has been kept stored and comes with the car. Engine number *6410166*.
The car retains it’s 901 dogleg five speed gearbox.
The 2.7 liter engine was rebuilt, runs on Weber carburettors and makes the car FASTER. The engine has been checked and tuned in late 2025.
