The car was delivered on February 16, 1962, to a Hamburg businessman who, according to the meticulously maintained service log, drove it approximately 60,000 km over the next ten years.
From then on, written documentation is lost until 2003—with an odometer reading of 97,000 km.

Condition & History

• Interior: – Well-preserved – Seats were reupholstered approx. 20 years ago – Carpets and soft top were also replaced true to the original at least 20 years ago – The headliner has a few holes on the inside
• Body: – Largely original – As far as can be determined, accident-free
• Bodywork: – Only the right side sill and the jack mount were welded – A metal strip was replaced on the trunk floor near the battery – Both doors were repaired at the lower edges  › Coating thicknesses in the lower quarter: 0.6 to 2.0 mm  › At the lower corners: up to 3.0 mm – The rest of the vehicle shows original coating thicknesses between 0.25 and 0.4 mm
• Paint: – Not perfect, but well-preserved – Consistent with the overall appearance: beautifully weathered
